About
This course explores how early attachment experiences shape a child’s emotional health, behavior, and future relationships. Parents learn how secure attachment develops through emotional availability, attunement, consistency, and repair—and how disruptions can impact a child’s sense of safety and trust. Using neuroscience, attachment theory, and real-life parenting examples, the course breaks down healthy versus disrupted attachment cycles, the four attachment styles, and the pivotal role caregivers play in building (or healing) secure bonds. Parents will learn how containment, empathy, and limits set with warmth help children regulate emotions and develop resilience. This module emphasizes that attachment work is not about perfection, but presence and repair. Even when early experiences were disrupted, parents can meaningfully heal attachment patterns at any age by reconnecting, repairing ruptures, and modeling accountability. At its core, this course empowers parents to build relationships where children feel seen, safe, soothed, and secure—forming a foundation for lifelong emotional health.
